De Boeddhistische Unie Nederland (BUN) is in 1990 opgericht als vereniging van boeddhistische groeperingen in Nederland. Als stichting bestond de BUN daarvoor als sinds 1978. Het is de officiële vertegenwoordiger van ruim 55.000 Boeddhisten in Nederland naar de overheid en in Europa als lid van de Europese Boeddhistische Unie (EBU).
